Jacopo Ferrazza
Hello! I’m Jacopo Ferrazza, a software engineer in the Dominican Republic. My journey into the world of technology began at a young age, surrounded by computers and fascinated by their capabilities. As a teenager, I wrote my first “Hello World” program in QBasic, sparking my passion for software development.
About me 👨🏻💻
Originally from Italy but raised in the Dominican Republic, I have a deep love for food, especially 🍕.
In my free time, you’ll often find me immersed in a good book. I’m particularly fond of historical novels, with author Valerio Massimo Manfredi being among my favorites. I also enjoy exploring the philosophical teachings of Alan Watts, which influence my daily perspective.
A stoic at heart, but with a practical mind. Always curious and open to other philosophies and ways of life.
Work life 💻
Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with diverse clients and technologies to uphold the quality standards of web and mobile applications across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Recently, I’ve shifted my focus towards APIs and their lifecycle, emphasizing effective testing strategies to ensure test longevity. Additionally, I’ve played a pivotal role in assisting teams in achieving their Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) objectives. My contributions have included ensuring that tests provide valuable insights to the team whenever needed.
